Hidden in Plain Sight Adult Education Program
Hidden in Plain Sight is a display of a typical teenage bedroom set up with drug paraphernalia “Hidden in Plain Sight.” This is an interactive visual program that offers trusted adults insight into current trends in youth attitudes concerning substance use/abuse, drug paraphernalia, concealment and sales of illicit drugs, tobacco and alcohol. Trained professionals educate parents and concerned community members on how to spot changes and talk to youth about substance use as well as what to do if a problem is suspected.

Deterra Medication Disposal Pouches
CACY distributes Deterra deactivation pouches to properly dispose of unwanted or expired prescription and over-the-counter medication. Deterra pouches are made from environmentally friendly materials which allows the pouch to biodegrade without hurting the environment or animals. Tobacco/ Nicotine Cessation

Drug Free Workplace Education
Drug Free Workplace (DFW) facilitators are available to meet annual federal training requirements for staff and supervisors. Educational presentation includes understanding requirements of a DFW, prevalence of substance use in the workplace and its impact, review of organization’s substance use policy with employees, and links to local resources.
